• The deal significantly boosts the company's resources and processing capacity, but puts a question mark about the high valuations of US uranium miners.
• US uranium deposits have low grades and high costs, and I view it as unlikely that any of them will enter production.
• The whole uranium sector is detached from fundamentals due to significant investor interest and few names to invest into.
• Short selling here seems risky but a position in LEAPS could be a viable strategy.
