VRT - Vertiv takes top industrial gainer spot of the week Kanzhun sees loser tag

The Industrial Select Sector ( XLI ) was back in the red for the week ending May 26 ( -1.44% ), briefly halting the 3-week slide by gaining in the previous week . Meanwhile, the SPDR S&P 500 Trust ETF ( SPY ) was in the green for the second week in a row ( +0.33% ).

The top five gainers in the industrial sector (stocks with a market cap of over $2B) all gained more than +6% each this week. YTD, 4 out of these 5 stocks are in the green.

Vertiv ( NYSE: VRT ) +26.86% . The Ohio-based company, which provides infrastructure and services for data centers, saw its stock soar the most on Thursday ( +13.98% ).

Plug Power ( PLUG ) +6.73% . On Monday, the shares soared +14.23% after the company said it landed three deals in Europe for its 5 MW green hydrogen-producing electrolyzers. However, the stock pared off gains with being in the red for the next four days.

YTD, the shares have slumped -33.31% , and PLUG is only stock among this week's top five gainers which is in the red for this period. The average Wall Street Analysts' Rating is Buy , which is in stark contrast to the SA Quant Rating of Strong Sell .
