- Vislink Technologies ( NASDAQ: VISL ) stock is down 12% on Tuesday as the wireless communication company reported miss on both lines in its second quarter earnings .
- Revenue of $6.8M (-9.9% Y/Y) missed consensus by $1.87M. For the lower revenue, the company blamed supply disruptions and delays in government business due to long sales cycles and funding slowdowns.
- Gross margins were 53% of revenue in the second quarter of 2022 compared to 52% a year-ago.
- EBITDA Loss increased to $2.1M vs. negative $0.58M EBITDA in Q2 2021.
- GAAP EPS of -$0.05 missed by $0.02.
- "Our revenue was also affected by impacts we experienced to our supply chain. While we had taken steps previously to mitigate such impacts, including purchasing critical components and producing more finished goods to service our customers, we are still experiencing intermittent shortages of critical components ," said Carleton Miller, CEO of Vislink.
