Yiren Digital ( NYSE: YRD ) agrees to acquire a 100% equity interest in China-based Chongqing Jintong Financing Guarantee Co., Ltd., a licensed financing guarantee company for a total cash consideration of RMB 204.9 million.
With the addition, the company will be able to offer financing guarantee services through Chongqing Jintong, which will aid in growing its loan facilitation business in China.
The closing of the deal is subject to certain conditions and is expected to occur in July 2023.
