Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO Elon Musk said on Thursday that the company will start deploying its full self-driving (FSD) driver assistance technology on its Cybertruck vehicles with version 12.5 of the software, while not providing a timeline for deploying the new version.
What Happened: “Yes, Cybertruck FSD releases with 12.5, which also finally merges the city and highway code,” Musk wrote on social media platform X, formerly Twitter.
Tesla’s Cybertruck is the company’s latest offering which it started delivering to customers in late November. The vehicle is not equipped with the company’s FSD technology as of now.
