Google Cloud, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG), has unveiled the public preview of its advanced AI model, Gemini 1.5 Pro, at the Cloud Next event.
What Happened: As per the Google Cloud blog post, the latest model of the search giant’s AI brings incremental upgrades over the last one. It seems to have brought significantly enhanced performance and a breakthrough in long-context understanding on paper, but it’s yet to be used by the public to verify those claims.
