Twitter (now X) co-founder Jack Dorsey has made two cryptic posts on the social media platform owned by Elon Musk, likely alluding to Edward Snowden gaining his freedom after escaping to Russia 11 years ago.
What Happened: Former National Security Agency (NSA) consultant and whistleblower Snowden could have regained his freedom if Dorsey's posts are anything to go by.
In two consecutive posts, Dorsey said "free" and that the algorithm on X is so good now, that "following is just signaling."
Curiously, Dorsey has almost completely trimmed the list of people he's following – even Musk didn't make the cut. At the time of writing, Snowden is the only user Dorsey is following on X.
