Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta (NASDAQ:META), has predicted that artificial intelligence (AI) versions of celebrities could be a reality as soon as next year.
Zuckerberg believes there is a “huge need” for AI celeb versions. He used Kylie Jenner as an example, stating that AI could serve as an assistant to celebrities and be a fun feature for fans to interact with. However, he acknowledged that the technology for such application is still in its infancy, Business Insider reported.
During the same interview, Zuckerberg hinted that the implementation of AI celebrities may be delayed due to brand safety concerns. Celebrities would need assurance that their AI versions won’t make problematic statements.
