U.S. stocks traded higher, with the Dow Jones gaining more than 100 points on Wednesday.
Shares of Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) jumped during Wednesday’s session after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results.
Target reported a third-quarter FY23 sales decline of 4.22% year-on-year to $25.398 billion, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $25.31 billion. Adjusted EPS of $2.10 beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.48.
The company will offer more than 10,000 items for the holidays, including exclusives and many priced under $25.
Shares of Target rose 18.2% to $130.89 on Wednesday.
