In a new development, CS Energy unveils a timelapse video of its $150 million Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) Megapack project under construction in Queensland, Australia, Electrek reported.
The Megapack, which was launched in 2019, has become a preferred choice for utility-scale energy storage projects. The product has significantly boosted Tesla’s energy storage capacity, registering a 222% yearly increase.
The Megapack, a container-sized “3 MWh battery system” with integrated modules, inverters, and thermal systems, is 60% more energy-dense than Tesla’s Powerpack. Its upgraded version, with a 3.9 MWh capacity, also comes prepped for installation.
