- Kiplinger Investing periodically lists retirement tips. This 41 stock list comes from two articles. One by Brian Bollinger, updated 8/5/20, and another by Charles Lewis Sizemore, CFA, 7/2/19.
- The articles were titled, '20 for 20 retirement years', and '25 stocks every retiree should own'. Four listed on both, leaving 41. One ceased paying dividends and one never did, leaving 39.
- Those 39 select dividend stocks ranged 0.95% to 9.61% in annual yield and ranged -8.7% to 20.5% in annual price target downsides and upsides per brokers 4/16/21.
- Top ten reliable retiree dividend stocks, KMI, ENB, DOC, DUK, CVX, XOM, UL, MMP, CVS, & EPD, boasted net projected gains from 9.9% to 27.42% for April.
- $5k invested in the lowest-priced five of ten top-yield reliable retirement dividend dogs showed 9.76% more net-gain than from $5k invested in all ten. The little (lower-priced) reliable retirement dogs continued to lead this pack in April.
