On the brink ofsignificantly upgrading the mineral resource estimate for its Kaiserdeposit in the Northern Molong Porphyry Project in New South Wales,Alkane Resources Ltd (ASX:ALK) managing director Nic Earner takesProactive’s Jonathan Jackson through the latest drilling results.Alkane has delivered the highest gold grades observed to date at thesite, with an exceptional intercept of 8.6 metres at 14.8 g/t goldequivalent, including segments of 3.5 metres at 31.3 g/t and 1 metreat 62.2 g/t gold equivalent.
Earner highlights the remarkable findings from thefinal 12,000-metre round of drilling, which confirmed the presence ofhigh-grade sections and a 'Boda' style breccia, intensifyingthe deposit’s prospects.
With theseresults, Alkane is poised to release an updated Kaiser resourceestimate in April, enhancing the already impressive Boda resourcefigures. Looking forward, the company is conducting a scoping study toassess the mining viability of both Boda and Kaiser, with resultsexpected in the June quarter.
