- Coinbase Global ( NASDAQ: COIN ) users are facing intermittent issues logging into their accounts through the exchange's website and app, as well as through Coinbase Prime.
- "Our teams are working to resolve this as soon as possible and funds in Coinbase ( COIN ) accounts are safe," the company tweeted on Tuesday.
- According to a status page tracking the snag, the issue has been identified and a fix has been implemented.
- Coinbase ( COIN ) is monitoring the results of the fix implemented, but it did not disclose any more details.
- The development comes days after stablecoin USD Coin ( USDC-USD ) de-pegged from the U.S. dollar after stablecoin issuer Circle said $3.3B of USDC reserves have been parked at failed lender Silicon Valley Bank. USDC is a key revenue driver for Coinbase ( COIN ).
- Earlier, Coinbase ( COIN ) said it had ~$240M cash balance at Signature Bank ( SBNY ), all of which are expected to be recovered .
