- Comstock Resources ( NYSE: CRK ) has jumped 6% postmarket after word that the stock is moving into the S&P SmallCap 600 index .
- It's moving into that index to take the place of Agree Realty ( NYSE: ADC ), which is moving up to the MidCap 400. ADC is down 2.9% after hours.
- And Agree's move is coming as something needs to replace STORE Capital ( STOR ), which is exiting the MidCap 400 via an acquisition expected to be completed soon.
- The index moves are effective prior to the open of trading on Monday, Feb. 6.
