Cooper Standard(NYSE: CPS) today announced the appointment of Shannon B. Quinn tovice president, chief commercial and strategy officer. In her newrole, Quinn will be responsible for the global commercial group andcorporate strategy, and will report to Patrick Clark, senior vicepresident and managing director – global automotive. Based at theCompany's world headquarters in Northville, Quinn will also joinCooper Standard’s Global Leadership Team.

Priorto joining Cooper Standard, Quinn served as president, consumeroriginal equipment (OE) North America for Bridgestone Corp. from 2017to 2022. In this role, she was responsible for leading businessdevelopment, commercial negotiations, program management, strategy andthe overall profit and loss for the business unit. She also led thenew initiative to expand Bridgestone’s overall business with newOE’s and new mobility players.
Previously, she held titles of increasingresponsibility at Adient and its predecessor Johnson Controls, servingas vice president, Ford business unit, where she was responsible forleading all new business pursuit opportunities and generation ofrevenue plans supporting overall business projections. She joined theglobal automotive supplier as managing director for the Ford businessunit in 2011. From 2000 to 2011, Quinn held several strategiccommercial positions with Visteon Corp. She began her career as aproduct engineer at Ford Motor Co. in 1991.
Quinn earned a Bachelorof Science degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University inWest Lafayette, Indiana and a Master of Business Administration fromEastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. She has also completedmultiple exclusive executive leadership development programs. She hasserved as an OESA (Original Equipment Supplier Association) directorand an Automotive Hall of Fame board director. Quinn currently servesas a board director for Vista Maria and the Board DevelopmentCommittee.
