- Payment technology company CPI Card Group ( NASDAQ: PMTS ) said on Monday that Scott Scheirman intends to retire as president and CEO, effective Feb. 28, 2024.
- Scheirman will continue to serve on the role until a successor is named.
- The company said its board has a succession plan in place to identify and evaluate candidates. A new CEO is expected to be named in late 2023 or early 2024.
- Scheirman plans to spend more time with his family and conduct volunteering work with community organizations focused on helping kids.
- PMTS shares were trading +1.06% pre-market.
