- Creatd ( NASDAQ: CRTD ) announced on Thursday its plans to acquire additional shares in two of its subsidiaries, Dune and WHE Agency.
- Pursuant to the memorandum of understanding signed with Dune, Creatd ( CRTD ) will acquire an additional 20% ownership stake in exchange for ~$360,000 in Creatd common stock at a price of $1.32/share.
- Furthermore, the creator-first technology holding company will acquire an additional 17% ownership stake in WHE in exchange for approximately the same purchase price.
- Following the close of the proposed transactions, Creatd's ( CRTD ) ownership stake in Dune and WHE would increase to 70% and 61%, respectively.
- This will help improve its balance sheet and prepare it to explore a variety of future financing opportunities, including the potential spin-off of certain Creatd assets.
