- The Ensign Group ( NASDAQ: ENSG ) acquired operations of Colorado-based skilled nursing facilities, Hampden Hills Post Acute and Mapleton Post Acute.
- Aurora, Colo.-based Hampden is a 218-bed skilled nursing facility, while Mapleton is an 84-bed skilled nursing facility in Lakewood, according to the company.
- Ensign noted that the acquisitions were effective March 1, and will be subject to long-term, triple net leases.
- "We have admired these facilities for some time and are excited for the opportunity to combine these with our existing facilities in Colorado," said Ensign's CEO Barry Port.
- The company added that the acquisitions bring its portfolio to 290 healthcare operations, 26 of which also include senior living operations, in 13 states.
