- Ford ( NYSE: F ) is now taking orders for the 2024 electric pick-up truck, the F-150 Lightning with a reduced sticker price for the flash model of under $70K.
- The vehicles will be shipped from Ford’s ( F ) Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Dearborn, Michigan.
- The 2024 F-150 Lightning comes with new tech updates that include a charging speed display which allows drivers to see the charge status and estimated finishing time, BlueCruise hands-free highway driving capabilities (on select trims), and Lane Change Assist which allows drivers to switch lands hands-free with a tap of the turn signal.
- Customers will also be able to charge the vehicle at Tesla Superchargers through the BlueOval Charge network.
- As announced earlier , Ford ( F ) cut the price of most F-150 Lightning models by $2K for the XLT up to $5.5K lower for the Flash. The price for the Platinum and Pro remain unchanged at $84,995 and $54,995, respectively.
