U.S. equity futures were little changed on Thursday as investors looked ahead to several economic reports scheduled to come out in the morning.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrials docked 16 points, or 0.1%, early Thursday to 31,235.
Futures for the S&P 500 dipped 10.75 points, or 0.3%, to 3,954.75
Futures for the NASDAQ Composite Index fell 66.25 points, or 0.5%, to 12,156.
Adobe announced on Thursday morning that it has a deal to acquire design software company Figma in a deal worth about $20 billion.
Adobe will pay a mix of cash and stock for the transaction. Shares of Adobe dropped more than 8% in premarket trading.
Figma is a private company based out of San Francisco.
Retail sales, import prices and jobless claims, as well as the Philadelphia Fed manufacturing survey and the Empire State manufacturing survey are all slated for release at 8:30 a.m. ET.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index gained 0.2% Thursday, while in Hong Kong, the Hang Seng took on 0.4%.
Oil prices slipped $1.22 to $87.26 U.S. a barrel.
Gold prices decreased $15.40 to $1,693.70 U.S. an ounce.
