Great BoulderResources Ltd (ASX:GBR) MD Andrew Paterson tells Proactive the companyis looking at a suite of new targets at the Side Well Gold Project’sIronbark prospect in WA just days after it resumed an aircorecampaign.
A recentsub-audio magnetics (SAM) survey — executed over a 2-kilometre zoneat the heart of Ironbark’s 87,000-ounce gold deposit — suggestspotential for strike extensions to Ironbark’s northeast.
TheSAM survey — the first of its kind at Side Well — had suppliedplenty of useful data as the company closed in on its best drilltargets.
“The conductivity data shows Ironbarkmineralisation sits in a resistive zone adjacent to a linear conductorwhich is probably a shear zone,” he explained.
“The images also confirm our theory that Ironbark is offsetto the north by a cross-cutting fault, with potential for strikeextensions to the northeast.
“Secondly, we have identified an unexplained anduntested conductor northeast of Ironbark that may be caused bysulphides. We plan to test that with a small aircore program in thenear future.”
