What is the link between IAMGOLD ( IAG ) and New Gold ( NGD ) that I covered just a few days ago? The answer is Renaud Adams , who was at the helm of New Gold from 2018 to 2022 before moving to his current position as IAMGOLD's President and CEO in March 2023 . It was under his leadership that New Gold announced the sale of its Blackwater Project to Artemis Gold ( ARTG:CA ) in June 2020 .
