- Kraft Heinz ( NASDAQ: KHC ) has announced a voluntary recall of ~5,760 cases of Capri Sun Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink Blend beverages sold in the U.S.
- The recall comes after the company received several consumers complaint about the taste of the affected product.
- In a statement released Friday, Kraft Heinz ( KHC ) said that diluted cleaning solution, which is used on food processing equipment, was inadvertently introduced into a production line at one of its factories.
- The company is working with retail partners and distributors to remove potentially impacted product from circulation. The affected products have a "Best When Used By" date of June 25, 2023.
