When planting your garden, I want you to take a moment to consider planting companion plants. These aren't your run-of-the-mill emotional support plants, like the flowers you buy your wife after you have an argument. These companion plants work together to be of mutual benefit to each other. Aboriginal Canadians planted three different companion plants together frequently. Pole beans, squash, and corn were grown together because they benefited each other, each providing and supporting the other.
