Boardwalk REIT ( BEI.UN:CA ) ( BOWFF ) is one of Canada's largest residential real estate trusts, owning almost 35,000 residential suites in a few hundred different communities. The demand for the REIT’s suites remains strong, and in combination with recent rent hikes, Boardwalk has been able to increase its guidance for the second time in as many quarters. This doesn't mean the stock is cheap, but as interest rates on the (Canadian) financial markets are coming down and as market rents are still higher than the realized rent per suite, Boardwalk REIT still offers additional upside potential. ...
