Bad to Worse
Things appear to be going from bad to worse for Cogent Communications Holdings, Inc. ( CCOI ), one of the prominent facilities-based internet service providers [ISP] in the B2B [business-to-business] market. The last time we covered CCOI (on which we have a hold rating) in August 2025, it was underperforming its peers from both the Russell 2000 and communication services sector in a big way and was down by 50% on a YTD basis.
