Cresud ( CRESY ) is a different company. It produces grains, meat, and sugar on hundreds of thousands of hectares in South America, but it also owns the most important shopping malls and offices in Argentina, through IRSA ( IRS ). It has a strong foothold in the countryside and another in the city, and also operates in Brazil, adding stability and regional diversification. It's a play on real assets in two different worlds, with a capital-based rationale and a long-term vision....
