These are two key theses of mine, as most of my readers may already know.

In recent years, I have spent a lot of time on these, as they are not only extremely important for the market and the economy, but also related in many ways. The first thesis is about my belief that inflation will remain at above-average levels on a longer-term basis. Essentially, this is my way of saying we won’t see an easy return to the 2% target. I think a few years from now, looking back, we’ll find that the average inflation rates will likely be close to 3-4%....
