EDMONTON, AB, June 4, 2026 /CNW/ - Trade Winds to Success, a trades training organization for Indigenous students in Alberta, invites media to the premiere of See the Skill. Not Bias. This new short documentary series goes on the record about what Indigenous tradespeople actually experience on Alberta job sites and what it costs the industry to keep ignoring it.
Told through the voices of Trade Winds alumni, the series challenges a trades sector facing a critical labour shortage in the next decade, to look at who it's leaving out, why and what the industry stands to gain when it gets this right. Following the screening, a panel discussion and Q&A will offer a chance to go deeper, ask questions and explore practical ways to build more inclusive workplaces.
