Huawei and China Telecom Win GSMA GLOMO for Enhancing the Lives of Children and Young People

At the Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Huawei and China Telecom were honored with the prestigious GSMA GLOMO award for Best Mobile Innovation for Enhancing the Lives of Children and Young People. Their joint initiative, the Qingjiao Plan, is a pioneering education project launched in 2019, aimed at benefiting rural students and teachers in China’s Langcang County. The project leverages China Telecom's advanced 5G network alongside Huawei’s WeLink platform to provide crucial learning resources and an online community focused on teacher training.
