A reader asked for my thoughts on the Fidelity Total Bond ETF ( FBND ), a simple, actively managed bond ETF focusing on high-quality investment-grade securities. FBND's 4.5% dividend yield is materially higher than that of its benchmark, the Vanguard Total Bond Market Index Fund ETF ( BND ), with a 3.7% yield. It has outperformed its benchmark since inception too, perhaps not after accounting for slightly higher volatility and drawdowns....
