Introduction

In the last few years, Uber Technologies ( UBER ) has been on the endangered list due to rapidly advancing autonomous vehicle (AV) technology. Where many analysts believe they would disappear as Waymo and especially Tesla ( TSLA ) deploy robotaxis. In my previous article , I highlighted that Uber and Lyft ( LYFT ) were in the best position to rapidly monetize this technology, as they already had the ride-hail networks, customers, billing, etc., operational, and that an AV could scale more rapidly with Uber than on its own....
